Elwha River Trail

This was my first hike in the Olympic Mountains and I really enjoyed it.  This hike is for all ages because there are a lot of different trails you can go on.  Once you enter the trail you will see a lot of signs directing you to other trails, there are even camping areas along the way.  We hope to return to the trail for an overnight hike as it's a easy hike, but a lot of fun.  Just be careful for bears and deer...we saw deer, thankfully we didn't see a bear but there were warnings all over the trail so make sure to bring your bear bell and bear spray to keep yourself safe.

Round-trip: 9.6 miles
Elevation Gain: 700 ft
Dogs not allowed
